My son and I were craving a Boise staple, the ice cream potato! We went to the State Street location and they were slammed. I ordered 2 ice cream potatoes and waited to get to the window. I expect to have a wait when I go to Westside because everything is made to order and, let me tell you, it's worth the wait! Finally made it to the window and the young lady insisted no charge and apologized for the "long wait". I wasn't bothered by the wait at all but EVERY TIME, WITHOUT FAIL, Westside delivers delicious food and top notch customer service!! Thank you so much Westside for working through this difficult time, we love you guys!!

Had dinner here on a Sunday. Service was fast and friendly. The baked potato was great! Curly fries had a good texture and flavor. The ice cream baked potato was fun and gimmicky. I highly recommend this place for a quick, yummy meal.

3.5 stars really. Food is hit and miss. Sometimes the burgers are pretty good and what you're after at a greasy drive in. Other times it's something I tell myself I won't be going back there for a while. I want to like it more. I like the menu. Shakes are good. Wait times are really long. Like 17 minutes in the drive thru line from the time we ordered tonight. And the window person was confused if they had our order right after they handed it to us. She took it backed pulled some stuff out for the car behind us. But we still had one of their sides. I hope they still got what they ordered. Bottom line is I'll still try it a time or two a year. Hopefully with more successes than failures.

What was my boyfriend on date night and we had a lot of fun. Their menu is so extensive it's hard to decide what you want however everything I've had theirs over the years has been great. It's great to sit outside on the patio and eat good food and people watch.

I have to give five stars because West side has always been a staple in this community and their food is always good! But the website definitely needs some work. It’s impossible to use on the iOS system.

The food was absolutely delicious. HUGE portions, for a reasonable price. The tattooed gal running the window was awesome as well. Don't skip this place, get there, get steak fingers, smile.

Really good, really fresh food at reasonable prices! Patio dining, twin drive thru, or take-out. I ordered five burgers amongst the family, each with special requests and they got them all right. Gluten free bun or lettuce wrapped burgers available. Generous portions. Clean restrooms and patio.

This place claims the original finger steak, not sure if that's the case or not but that's irrelevant! This place is amazing! Good was spectacular and exactly what you'd expect from a drive-in.The french fries are particularly delicious, we also got friend mushrooms and some burgers...all 10/10!

This place is awesome in fare weather. The food is great all the time, you just have to eat it in the car or take it down the road.The food. First the bad: very high calories. The Good: the food is old school delicious. The burgers, fries, steak fingers and signature baked potato shaped ice cream desert ALL Outstanding!!! You won't find tofu or kale here. It's awesome american drive through, filling, satisfying food. I loved it.

Their chocolate milkshakes, footlong hotdogs, curly fries, and finger steaks are the essence of my childhood. The finger steaks are really good. Westside also has some of the tastiest fry sauce I've ever tried. Good stuff.

Great food, fun atmosphere, they've been there for years, so you know they're doing it right! I had the bacon cheeseburger, my daughter had the finger steaks, and someone behind us ordered the prime rib - at noon, it looked delicious! I don't normally get too impressed by burgers, but it was very tasty, juicy, and messy, just the way I like them! My daughter really enjoyed the finger steaks, they had a light-colored breading, almost like tempura, very different than I'd ever seen before. The staff was very friendly and seemed to be enjoying themselves. We'll definitely go back!

Only burger restaurant that I know of we're you'll get a fortune cookie.Good prices, really tasty shakes, good service! Really appreciate that they have a tent and heater for when it rains, so when it does people can still eat at the restaurant outside or go through the drive through!

Great place. The few chances we get a date night away from our 5 year old son we like to go here! I love the prime rib! It's only available Friday and Saturday nights but it's worth going there for it! My wife got their sloppy joe and it was so big! She couldn't even finish it. Great place to get shakes too!

Everything I've ever gotten from here has been great! This place knows what they are doing and their staff is always nice, even when they are slammed. They've really stepped it up during the Covid-19, despite being MUCH busier than usual. Thank you!

Best Turkey French dip sandwich ever. Finger Steaks are RAD, Fridays, the Prome Rib is a winner. And of course, the Ice Cream Potato is always a hit with our out of town guests!

Was sitting at my eye doctor across the street and the fine folks at Ada Vision recommended I try this place for lunch, didn't disappoint! Delicious Cuban Sandwich for me!!

Greatest old time drive-in restaurant in town! Where else can you get a real Green River. Would be 5 star if it had more than two drive up windows and walk up order stations...it's that popular, it can get a back up.

Excellent food. Very surprising quality for a burger joint. Lots of other options that are very tasty. I recommend to try the salads and finger steaks.

A spectacular one of a kind local restaurant. One of Boises best. Today we had a double beef burger with ham, bacon lettuce and tomatoes unlike any other you have ever had. My wife had a meat loaf dinner with sauteed mushrooms over the meat and mashed potatoes.They have many delicious dishes here to try.Another must do if you come near Boise.
